Reporting and Database Analyst

Strategic thinking tools and skills will provide the ability, when reviewing reports and analysis, to quickly identify potential errors (i.e, margin, sales discrepancies, etc.). This includes a thorough understanding of the levers that create and drive savings and profitability. This is particularly necessary when analyzing and using data from the generated reports to report up to senior management. We are looking for an individual with the ability to not only create and run reports but can review the reports to ensure they pass "reality test". For this skill to be present, the candidate needs to take time to understand company and customer financial metrics to be able to quickly identify if the reporting is credible, trustworthy and authentic.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with management team to develop reporting and analyze data to assist in making sound decisions for the business. Work extensively in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook) with heavy Excel and Access Databases. Work extensively in Crystal Reports, both editing existing reports and creating new reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is not required, relevant experience does. At least 5 years of experience in report building and data analysis. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills. Strong Crystal reporting skills, both editing existing reports and creating new reports. Knowledge in SQL Strong business and finanicial acumen. Ability to work independently with in a highly matrixed business environment. Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. Ability to work successfully with remote client group. Ability to meet deadlines.

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
