Job Description

Senior Delivery Specialist Introduction:
The Senior Delivery Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day data center activities, maintaining server environments, and coordinating maintenance activities with the customer. This position requires strong technical skills in BIOS management, Break/Fix procedures, and experience with Dell PowerEdge servers.
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day data center activities Proactively monitor the data center for any issues and alert customers as needed Escort dispatched field engineers when applicable Manage LOIS parts inventory and documentation Maintain documentation of the server environment including serial numbers, elevations, and runbooks Coordinate with the customer for maintenance activities such as power and cooling maintenance Perform BIOS lifecycle management including adding users and patching Triage with Dell support for scheduling field service engineer (FSE) break/fix activities Update server versions as directed by the customer team Be onsite 5 days a week with no exceptions
Required Skills:
Experience with PowerEdge Rack/Tower servers Proficiency in RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems Experience working in a larger server environment Ability to perform BIOS lifecycle management tasks Knowledge of Break/Fix procedures Familiarity with Dell server hardware
