Job Description

Datacenter Hands & Feet Operations Engineer - 68883 We have an immediate need for a Datacenter Hands & Feet Operations Engineer for an onsite contract opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is based at the N. Mingo Rd. data center facility and supports critical infrastructure operations, hardware deployments, and day-to-day data center activities. This is an urgent requirement with an accelerated hiring timeline, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working in hands-on technical environments supporting enterprise infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting data center operations through hardware installation, decommissioning, relocation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities across server, storage, and network environments. The role involves performing rack and stack activities, maintaining structured cable management standards, diagnosing hardware issues, replacing faulty components, and supporting preventive maintenance programs. Candidates will collaborate closely with remote L1, L2, and L3 support teams, OEM vendors, and infrastructure engineers to ensure timely issue resolution and operational continuity. Responsibilities also include managing inventory records, asset tracking, hardware shipping and returns, supporting scheduled maintenance windows, documenting operational activities, and maintaining compliance with data center safety, security, and operational procedures. The selected professional will contribute to maintaining a reliable, organized, and efficient data center environment while supporting power, cooling, and critical infrastructure operations when required. Required skill sets include strong knowledge of data center operations, server hardware, network infrastructure, rack and stack procedures, cable management, and hardware troubleshooting. Candidates should possess hands-on experience supporting server installations, equipment relocation, preventive maintenance, inventory management, and technical support activities within enterprise infrastructure environments. Basic understanding of networking concepts, storage technologies, and data center operational best practices is essential. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and documentation capabilities are highly preferred. The role requires the ability to work independently, support flexible schedules including weekends and emergency situations, and perform physical activities associated with data center operations.
