e&e is seeking a Salesforce Administrator for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA! We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Salesforce while partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. The Salesforce Administrator will help drive platform adoption, improve business processes, support end users, and establish governance and best practices that ensure long-term platform success. This position plays a key role in maintaining a secure, compliant, and high-performing Salesforce environment while reducing reliance on external vendors through the development of internal expertise Responsibilities Salesforce Administration & Platform Support Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user accounts, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security controls Configure and support Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, page layouts, and custom objects Monitor platform performance, security, and overall system health Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, configuration, security, and integration issues Business Analysis & Solution Design Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions using industry best practices and low-code/no-code capabilities Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to improve business processes and increase Salesforce adoption Recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and user experience Reporting, Analytics & Data Management Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and executive decision-making Manage data quality initiatives including data imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, and migration activities Ensure data integrity and adherence to data governance standards Release Management & Integrations Coordinate and support Salesforce releases, testing activities, and deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments Support integrations between Salesforce and internal or external systems using APIs and approved integration tools Participate in software testing, quality assurance, and change management activities Training, Documentation & Governance Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, operating procedures, and knowledge base materials Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to business and technical teams Mentor junior administrators and support staff to build internal Salesforce expertise Assist in establishing governance frameworks, security standards, change management procedures, and platform support processes Ensure compliance with organizational security, accessibility, records management, and data governance requirements Required Qualifications Experience administering, configuring, supporting, or developing enterprise applications Hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a complex enterprise environment Experience configuring Salesforce using declarative tools, including: Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Security Models, Reports and Dashboards, Custom Objects Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions Experience working directly with business stakeholders and providing customer-facing support Experience managing Salesforce security, user provisioning, permission sets, profiles, and role hierarchies Experience supporting data migration, data quality, and system integration activities Experience participating in software testing, release management, and deployment processes Experience developing training materials and supporting end users Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification Salesforce Business Analyst Certification Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), OmniStudio, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, migrations, or platform modernization initiatives Experience with Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, or Government Cloud Experience with Copado, Git, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control practices Experience developing Salesforce Flows and low-code automation solutions Working knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and integration patterns Experience establishing Salesforce governance frameworks, support models, and administrative standards Experience mentoring Salesforce administrators and support personnel Experience supporting enterprise systems in government, public sector, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments
