Electrical Data Center Technician (Level 2)

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Data Center Technician (Level 2) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within data center environments. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of low and high voltage electrical infrastructure, supporting critical data center functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical systems, collaborate with construction and maintenance teams, and contribute to the seamless operation of essential data center facilities. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits in data center environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and verify system performance Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure to identify potential hazards or failures before they impact operations Assist in construction site activities related to electrical system upgrades or new installations, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Collaborate with construction teams to read blueprints and schematics for new wiring or system modifications Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and test results to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements Experience Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong background in commercial or data center environments Hands-on experience working on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems within construction sites or operational facilities Skilled in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical documentation related to electrical systems Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics, ohmmeters, ammeters, and power tools used in electrical troubleshooting and installation Experience working with construction teams on site projects involving framing carpentry or other structural work related to electrical infrastructure Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work in data centers or industrial settings Ability to use hand tools effectively while adhering to safety guidelines Join us as an Electrical Data Center Technician (Level 2) where your expertise will keep vital data operations running smoothly.
