Onsite Project Overview We are supporting a large-scale airport technology environment that requires skilled IT professionals to support, maintain, and enhance critical systems across multiple airport facilities. These long-term contract roles operate within a complex, mission-critical infrastructure supporting airport operations, security, communications, and end-user services. Successful candidates will ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of enterprise data systems that support continuous airport operations. Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability for mission-critical airport systems Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity Implement and maintain database security controls, including user access management, authentication, and authorization policies Perform performance tuning and query optimization to improve system efficiency and reduce latency across applications Support data integration, ETL processes, and reporting requirements in coordination with development and analytics teams Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to operational SLAs Requirements 5-7 years of experience in SQL Server database administration or similar DBA roles Strong experience managing databases in high-availability and mission-critical environments Proficiency in SQL Server tools and technologies, including backup/recovery and performance tuning Experience with SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI is preferred Strong understanding of database security, indexing, and query optimization Experience supporting enterprise applications and data integration workflows
