Job Description

Job Summary:
Client seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with experience in data mapping, data validation, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and the ability to map data accurately between systems, sources, and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights. Perform data mapping between source and target systems to support data integration, migration, and reporting processes. Gather and understand business requirements for data-related projects. Create and maintain mapping documents, data dictionaries, and metadata definitions. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems. Work with business users, developers, and stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure correct mapping logic. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Support ETL and data migration activities by identifying source-to-target field relationships. Monitor data quality and recommend process improvements. Assist in testing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during system implementations or data conversions. Document data flows, business rules, and transformation logic.
