Hours/Week Work Arrangement:
Hybrid Key Responsibilities PeopleSoft Financials Support & Development Provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (PUM 53). Participate as a core team member in statewide PeopleSoft implementation and modernization initiatives. Support project implementations, system upgrades, patches, fixes, and production issues. Assist with Financials PUM upgrades, testing, and deployment activities. Ensure statewide configuration integrity and compliance with Oklahoma accounting standards and procedures. Deliver production support across multiple PeopleSoft Financial modules. Functional Analysis & Solution Design Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications. Analyze agency requirements and design solutions that align with statewide business processes. Perform fit-gap analysis and document findings. Identify workflow requirements and configure processes within Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense modules. Collaborate with business analysts, system analysts, system integrators, Oracle support teams, and agency stakeholders. Development & Technical Configuration Design, develop, test, and implement PeopleSoft customizations and enhancements.
Utilize PeopleSoft development tools including:
PeopleCode Application Engine Component Interfaces SQR BI Publisher PeopleTools SQL Developer Develop and maintain technical configuration and setup documentation. Testing & Quality Assurance Prepare and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts. Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing. Maintain and enhance PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) scripts. Validate patches, fixes, and upgrades prior to deployment. Document test results and ensure stakeholder sign-off. Documentation & Training Create and maintain: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) User manuals Job aids Training materials Configuration documents Technical documentation Provide knowledge transfer and end-user support as required. Project & Risk Management Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles. Provide impact assessments and recommendations to FCoE, IS, CAR, and OMES leadership. Prepare weekly status reports and project updates. Assist in project planning and execution activities. Required Qualifications PeopleSoft Expertise Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and PUM Image 53 . Hands-on experience supporting and implementing the following modules: Grants Project Costing Contracts Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing Accounts Payable (AP) Travel & Expense (T&E) Treasury General Ledger (GL) Commitment Control Asset Management Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in: PeopleCode Application Engine Component Interfaces SQR BI Publisher PeopleTools SQL Developer Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, configuration, and integrations. Functional Skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience with workflow design, process improvement, and business process documentation. Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting business processes. Communication & Collaboration Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, business users, agencies, and executive stakeholders. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Government or public sector experience. Prior State of Oklahoma experience. Experience working with the latest PeopleSoft PUM Images. Knowledge of State of Oklahoma accounting procedures, policies, and standards. Experience supporting statewide ERP implementations and large-scale financial systems. Deliverables The consultant may be responsible for producing: Production support resolutions and issue tracking Weekly status reports Project plans Development request documentation Fit-gap analysis documents Workflow documentation Test scripts and test results Training guides and user documentation Technical configuration/setup documentation Project completion and stakeholder sign-off documentation Success Criteria The selected consultant will successfully: Deliver timely production support and issue resolution. Complete assigned projects within established timelines. Support successful PeopleSoft upgrades and enhancements. Maintain compliance with statewide accounting standards. Produce high-quality documentation and training materials. Achieve stakeholder approval and project sign-off for all assigned deliverables.
