Job Description

Ensure integrity, availability, security, and performance of databases for enterprise-wide systems as well as databases hosted for campus units. Work with SQQL Server and supporting other database platforms, perform full range of database administration (DBA) tasks, develop automation of routine DBA processes, and contribute to decisions about new database technologies.
Daily Tasks include:
provision, patch, upgrade, and migrate SQL Server instances; monitor SQL Server instances and run queries; verify backup integrity, and investigate performance issues; troubleshoot network and other issues related to connecting to a database; use stored procedures, user-defined functions, and PowerShell; and participate in on-call rotation. Up to 100% remote work from home.
