Database Developer#26-05116 Pennington, NJ 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/29/2026 Ends 6/28/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Database Developer - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a Senior Database Developer role for a strategic program focused on providing actionable informational dashboards to drive operational excellence. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining TSQL code and will work with IT and business partners. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain TSQL code for a strategic program Create table structures and process data to meet critical reporting needs within the technology group Understand requirements provided by Business Analysts and write ETL programs to source data from upstream database systems and various file formats (XML, CSV, etc.) Work independently with minimal guidance

Requirements:

7+ years of full-time experience in MS SQL development 5+ years of full-time experience as an

MS SQL/TSQL

Developer with stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, tables, and index creation Solid understanding of data architecture, efficient database design, writingplex queries, query tuning, and troubleshooting Experience with Autosys, BIDS/SSIS, TFS, and C# Familiarity with object-oriented database design and development Experience in database and query optimization Familiarity with the IT Infrastructure management domain Experience with MSSQL Server 2012 or higher Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Knowledge of TFS (Team Foundation Service) or a similar service like BitBucket Experience with Visual Studio 2013 or higher Ability to create/modify database schema, tables, indexes, etc Knowledge of indexes, cursors, and triggers Experience working with partitioned tables and other database design patterns SQL Database backup and restore experience with working knowledge of log shipping and mirroring SQL code optimization and tuning with the ability to work with large datasets Extensive knowledge of data transformation and validation Experience with ETL Processing (Autosys preferred) Goodmunication and documentation skills Desired skills: Scrum/Agile knowledge C# scripting Tableau Pay rate: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
