Database Administrator, Location:

Chandler, AZ (Hybrid) Hybrid (minimum of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week).

Contract:

12-18 months - with possible extension up to 24 months Responsibilities include This person is responsible to: 1. Enhance application code to implement look ahead logic for GDG databases at all production plexes 2. Assist backup governance team in their interactions with AIT managers on 31 days retention of datasets such as generate necessary evidence when 31-day retention when met by application teams or provide list of gaps to AIT managers. 3. Replace current CMDB extracts from remedy to Service Now and enhance reconciliation process using data from Service Now 4. Provide production support for daily jobs covering CMDB feeds MRA3 related backup inventory reports and 31 day retention reports 5. Perform audit prescribed checks thoroughly on all reports before sending to Audit governance team Minimum 5 years of application development and database administration skill set with Db2 on mainframes; Strong Db2 SQL skills, experience with DB2 utilities, materialized query tables, REXX, JCL and Excel functions Knowledge of Python and working knowledge of replication with classic data capture for Db2.
