Job Description
MEP Project Manager -
This role is focused on the installation, coordination, and quality control of critical MEP equipment on large-scale hyperscale data center projects. The business is deeply embedded in the mission-critical market and works directly with leading general contractors and global technology clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day MEP equipment installation across active data center projectsOversee installation of major systems including electrical infrastructure, mechanical plant, generators, UPS, switchgear, chillers, CRAHs/CRACs, and associated supporting systemsLead and enforce QA/QC procedures, ensuring all installations meet contract documents, specifications, and commissioning standardsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedule, quality, and safety performanceReview submittals, shop drawings, ITPs, and installation methodologiesConduct regular site walks, inspections, and quality auditsWork closely with commissioning agents and GC teams through testing, startup, and turnoverMaintain accurate project documentation, punch lists, and closeout packagesRequired Experience5+ years of hands-on data center installation experience, specifically within hyperscale or mission-critical facilitiesProven background working for MEP contractors or specialist installation firmsStrong, demonstrable QA/QC background, with experience inspecting and signing off MEP installationsDeep understanding of critical equipment installation sequencing and coordinationExperience supporting projects in live or fast-track data center environmentsMust be local to Dallas, TX (no relocation or remote options)What's on OfferCompetitive base salary: $160,000 - $180,000Stable pipeline of hyperscale data center projects in the Dallas marketOpportunity to work with a highly respected specialist in the mission-critical sectorClear progression path into Senior Project Manager or Operations leadership roles
