Oracle DBA Location Irving, Tx (Hybrid) Job Summary Seeking a Specialist with 7+ years of experience in MySQL database administration with experience in Linux environments Job Description Manage and maintain MySQL database environments ensuring high availability and optimal performance Utilize AWS Database Services for cloud based database deployments and management Administer Windows Server and RedHat Linux systems supporting database infrastructure Implement security measures to protect database integrity and control access Perform routine database maintenance tasks including backups patching and upgrades Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to enhance system efficiency Collaborate with cross functional teams to support application database requirements Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations and procedures Roles and Responsibilities Install configure and maintain MySQL database management systems Ensure database performance availability and security standards are consistently met Perform database tuning and optimization to improve performance Monitor database health and implement corrective actions as needed Manage database access controls and permissions Develop test and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational security protocols Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database schemas Provide support and training to users and stakeholders on databaserelated topics
