SQL & MS
Access Developer to support our internal data systems, reporting infrastructure, and business operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world business problems through smart database design and automation. You'll work directly with operations, finance, and leadership teams to build, maintain, and improve the tools that keep our business running. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around your schedule, with a minimum of 2 days per week required on-site at our Costa Mesa office. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain MS Access databases and SQL-based solutions supporting internal business operations Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports Develop and update Access forms, queries, reports, and macros Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional database solutions Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data integrity across systems Support integrations between Access, SQL Server, Excel, and other business tools (e.g., Microsoft Business Central) Document database structures, processes, and user guides
What We're Looking For Required:
Proven experience with Microsoft Access — forms, queries, reports, VBA macros Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred) Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving instincts Comfortable working on-site a minimum of 2 days per week in
Costa Mesa Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) Experience integrating Access or SQL with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus) Prior experience in a field services, logistics, or operations-focused company
Work Schedule & Compensation Hours:
Variable, less than 29 hours per week — schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your availability
Location:
Hybrid — minimum 2 days per week in office at 3158 Red Hill Ave, Suite 200, Costa Mesa, CA; remaining hours may be worked remotely
