Portfolio Associate positions offered by Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (

PIMCO) (Newport Beach, California). Support the day-to-day management of investment portfolios. Monitor portfolio positions and products effectively and accurately against established client guidelines. Monitor risk exposures across portfolios, including but not limited to sizing trades to align risk measures with Portfolio Managers' desired targets. Coordinate the re-balancing of portfolios as necessary. Support account transitions and cash flow management and conduct performance and attributive analyses to ensure investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope. Provide creative solutions and develop specific tools and/or reporting methods to support the Portfolio Management team. Respond to ad-hoc requests as dictated by business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Education, training, or experience must include: o Financial analysis using Excel; o Using Bloomberg; o Performing analysis of investments; and o Working with equity, fixed-income, options and derivatives.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
• Experience may be acquired prior to completion of degree.
