Senior ETL Developer#26-05391 Jersey City, NJ 40% Remote Contract Starts 7/06/2026 Ends 7/05/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior ETL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will be an active participant in a scrum team focused on Enterprise Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL), Informatica/ETL, and Linux. This position involves daily interactions with the product owner to estimate, tailor, and groom user stories for timelypletion.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in the scrum team and Agile ceremonies Interact with the product owner daily to estimate and groom stories Engage with client and business partners on a limited basis Design, develop, and deploy solutions in Oracle, Informatica/ETL, and Linux environments Contribute to the implementation of Enterprise Sanctions and AML screening on the NetReveal Platform

Requirements:

15+ years of work experience in application development Expertise in developing highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing Extensive hands-on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas Strong proficiency with Informatica (PowerCenter and IDMC) and Linux/Unix scripting Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and core database internals Advanced query and application performance tuning capabilities in high-volume environments Ability to design, model, and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance Proven experience managing and processing large datasets efficiently Strong proficiency in Tableau development and dashboard visualization Excellent problem-solving and effectivemunication skills Self-directed with the ability to drive initiatives forward High degree of adaptability and flexibility Desired skills: Experience with Hadoop, Tableau, and Power BI Experience integrating Data Warehouse solutions with Business Intelligence platforms Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures Experience with containers and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) Exposure to APIs, Spring, Java, Kafka, MQ, or YAML Experience with distributed systems Knowledge of Financial Crimes, Economic Sanctions, Banking, Sanctions screening, PEP Negative News, Agile Delivery, or JIRA Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
