Job Description We are seeking a Database Administrator III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and high availability and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize complex database platforms while leading initiatives with minimal supervision .

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server databases, including high-tier environments. Lead or contribute to multiple moderately complex projects and special initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on database best practices, methods, and standards. Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization, including AlwaysOn configuration and troubleshooting. Evaluate complex issues using in-depth analysis and exercise judgment within established policies. Assign work, resolve problems, and mentor team members as needed. Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of hands-on SQL Server Administration in enterprise environments. Expertise with AlwaysOn availability groups, performance tuning, and optimization for large, high-tier systems. Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions. Ability to lead initiatives and operate with minimal supervision in a project-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

MS SQL DBA

experience within banking, preferably on the Application DBA side. Strong sense of problem ownership and client accountability. Linux administration and scripting proficiency (Shell, Python).
