Job Title:

Software Development Specialist Duties:

Plan and coordinate security measures to ensure data integrity and maximize database efficiency. Develop data processing and ETL components on distributed database systems. Develop database application schemas for business intelligence applications. Develop scripting to support the production operation of data processing applications. Design logical and physical databases. Review descriptions of changes to database design to understand how changes made affect the physical database. Develop and program in PL/SQL technology. Design and develop multiple reporting applications. Design, develop and implement ETL processes to update the data warehouse. Travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements:

Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In lieu of Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience, employer will accept 4 years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Position requires:

1. ETL Design and Development; 2. Database design and Database Development; 3. PL/SQL; 4. Informatica or Snaplogic; and 5. PowerBI or Tableau.
