  • 12•18 months (Contract) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced DBA that can hit the ground running on migration and build projects and BAU optimization, support, and troubleshooting.
Sr DBA with strong design, performance, troubleshooting skills, customer interactive skills and team player that will be working on a high profile / critical applications supported. Frequent weekend work. 10+ years with SQL Server Administration. Participates in design, development and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies. Viewed as the subject matter expert for the team. Manages multiple moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Troubleshooting and process responsibilities. Support multiple projects

migrations to
SQL 2022.
Additionally support SQL BAU for core business functions including Employee Experience, Corporate Office, and our back end Core Technology teams. On-Call responsibilities and after hours work expected. Heavily support M365 applications and their migration from Premise to Online. SharePoint Online migration will be the major client. This will require frequent weekend work (every other weekend). Frequent troubleshooting and proactive stability maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years with SQL Server Administration. Participates in design, development and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies. Viewed as the subject matter expert for the team. Manages multiple, moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Always On performance and tuning including for large high tier environments. Comfortable with using Query Stroe for troubleshooting.

  • SSDS, SSIS, SSRS, MS SQL, Qieru Store.
Linux familiarity. Strong project skills. Must work weekends. Redis, Dynatrace, Linux, TigerGraph, Splunk. Prior Bank DBA experience.
