Job Description

Title SQL Server DBA Location Birmingham, AL (Hybrid Role) Duration 6-12+ Months Contract to hire.
Description:
Client has one SQL Server DBA on staff who may be taking leave of absence. They do not have any other SQL database support and need an immediate consultant to come in and help. Our client runs SQL Server 2016-2020 and has moved a lot of applications to Azure Cloud but have not fully moved their SQL Server Databases fully to Azure SQL Database. This role will be a mix of on-prem SQL Server database support (break/fix) as well as helping them fully move SQL Databases to Azure SQL Database.
Must Have:
10+ years SQL Server DBA experience 2+ years Azure SQL DBA experience Ability to work with limited supervision (may be only DBA working for some time)
