Job Alerts Position Summary:
Segue Technologies, A Tetra Tech Company seeks a Senior Database Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Logistics Module (LOGMOD) and Base Support and Expeditionary Planning Module (BaS&E) Program. Through an Agile Approach, our team will deliver Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) capabilities in support of the AFLCMC mission. This is a full-time hybrid/remote positions. Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead Development team in DBA related activities and provide suppor for Oracle 19c databases Coordinate and manage migration of on-premises database to AWS cloud services. Perform Oracle database administration; analyze and optimize database performance utilizing indexes and dynamic tables to improve application response time. Maintain, upgrade, test and implement patches and security measures to safeguard Oracle databases. Modify existing database structures to support new requirements for government applications. Ability to write Adhoc SQL queries/scripting is desirable Provide Linux system administration as needed and Cloud One support.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer of Information Systems, or related field 5-7 years of relevant experience including 5+ years Oracle database administration experience Amazon Web Service (AWS) experience; experience with migration of databases to Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) or Relational Database Service (RDS) a plus 1 - 5 years of experience working with large-scale applications Experience with database structures, table maintenance, and familiarity with data manipulation Current IAT II or higher 8570 certification (e.g. Security+) Ability to obtain
Secret Clearance Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience with the USAF Experience with performing
DISA STIG
