Job Description

Software and LMS development role focused on Oracle database applications, classified network development, cybersecurity requirements, LMS administration, and courseware implementation. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 6+ years of professional software development experience Current Top Secret clearance preferred Current Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret may be considered Experience with software application development Experience with database application development Experience using software engineering processes and methods Oracle database design experience Oracle database development experience Oracle database maintenance experience Oracle Application Server or DBMS 12c or higher experience Application Express experience BI Publisher or OBIEE experience SQL Plus experience Team Foundation Server experience Web services experience Object-oriented methodologies and practices experience Microsoft Office Suite experience Microsoft Windows operating system proficiency Experience designing or developing in accordance with DoD or DOE cybersecurity requirements Experience designing or developing on classified computer networks Preferred Skills Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program classified computer network experience PL/SQL experience Visual Basic .NET experience HTML5 experience AJAX experience WCF experience WPF experience C# experience JavaScript experience LMS administration experience Student Information System experience COTS software administration experience Experience setting up LMS reports and data collection Experience testing LMS and SIS configuration changes Job Responsibilities Develop software and database applications using software engineering processes and methods Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications Use Oracle development tools including Application Express, BI Publisher, OBIEE, SQL Plus, TFS, and web services Develop application functionality using object-oriented methodologies and programming practices Collaborate with personnel to define technical specifications for software functionality and interactivity Design and implement courseware and curriculum in a Learning Management System Establish curriculum structures within an LMS Recommend methods for presenting course content to students Administer LMS platforms and related COTS software Set up and manage curriculum, multimedia computer-based training materials, and student information in an LMS Set up and manage student information in SIS or similar software Configure LMS reports and data collection Interact with end users to identify and resolve user issues Design and perform testing of LMS and SIS configurations and changes Support software development in accordance with DoD and DOE cybersecurity requirements
