Job Description

Excellent opportunity with a rapidly growing data center infrastructure organization supporting hyperscale data center deployments in the West Memphis market. This is a contract position focused on hands-on installation of structured cabling and data center infrastructure supporting large-scale server and network deployments. This role is ideal for someone looking to build or expand a career in data center operations and telecommunications infrastructure. You'll work alongside experienced technicians and project teams supporting high-profile data center environments while gaining exposure to fiber optics, structured cabling, rack installations, and deployment best practices. Required Skills & Experience High school diploma or GED Ability to work in commercial construction and data center environments Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Basic computer and mobile device proficiency Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders, work overhead, and perform physical installation activities Ability to travel as required Desired Skills & Experience Telecommunications, low-voltage, structured cabling, electrical, or construction experience Experience pulling fiber optic, coaxial, and CAT5e/CAT6 cabling Familiarity with data center environments Experience reading construction drawings and floor plans Understanding of cable labeling and routing standards OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification First Aid/CPR certification Scissor lift or boom lift certification What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown Fiber Optic Cabling Structured Cabling Data Center Infrastructure Rack and Equipment Installation Telecommunications Construction Daily Responsibilities Pull, route, dress, and secure fiber optic, coaxial, and CAT5e/CAT6 cabling Assist with installation of racks, servers, cable trays, brackets, and supporting infrastructure Install and label telecommunications cabling according to project requirements Support pathway installations including conduit, innerduct, J-hooks, and ladder rack systems Stage materials and equipment for deployment activities Perform basic cable testing and continuity verification Read and follow construction drawings, cable schedules, and installation documentation Maintain a safe and organized work environment Support project closeout activities, documentation, and punch list completion Communicate effectively with project teams and supervisors Travel to customer sites as required
