The incumbent provides technical direction and support for existing data technologies and road maps for future data architecture. Determines and enforces best practices, standards, and operating procedures in relation to proprietary and vendor adopted solutions from an enterprise role within the IT ecosystem in relation to data and data storage. What you will do Develops and implements database architecture, administration, tuning, and support across the enterprise organization for both proprietary and vendor solutions. Maintains and monitors high availability, stability, performance, and future planning of mission critical data technologies within the organization from both proprietary and vendor implemented solutions. Mentors, assists, and advises other data personal within the organization, functioning as the top-level administrative support team member in the organization in relation to data storage and data storage technologies. Develops and maintains best practices, standards, and procedures for data storage and access within the organization. Serves as a project lead for both IT and non-IT data initiatives within the organization that require data storage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Master's degree in a related field is preferred Ten (10) years of experience in a Senior Database Administration or Data Engineer role required Physical Demands Standing
