We've raised $9M (most recently led by S3 Ventures) and were recognized as their fastest-growing portfolio company. Our platform is quickly becoming the industry standard for digital debt collection. We're scaling our team and looking for people who want to help modernize a critical part of the financial system. What You'll Do Design, implement, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL databases in production environments. Optimize schema design, queries, and indexing to support high-volume transactional workloads. Develop and automate processes for backups, replication, and failover to ensure data integrity and uptime. Collaborate with backend and ML teams on data model evolution and system performance. Build and manage CI/CD database workflows using GitHub . Monitor database health and performance, implementing proactive improvements and alerts. Help triage and resolve production issues , working closely with product and engineering teams during incidents. Create Ad-Hoc reports to support customer support and product organizations. Participate in on-call rotations and support post-incident reviews. Implement and enforce database security, access control, and compliance best practices. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Database Engineer. Deep hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and high availability. Strong SQL and scripting skills (bash, Python, or similar). Familiarity with GitHub , Ansible , or other automation tools. Experience with AWS RDS , EC2, or cloud-hosted PostgreSQL. Knowledge of monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.). Strong debugging and production triage skills — able to quickly assess impact and drive toward resolution. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical teams. Bonus Points Experience with Elasticsearch , NSQ , or message queue architectures. Exposure to ML data pipelines and analytics workloads. Prior experience in a high-growth startup or SaaS environment.
