Job Description

Luna Data Solutions has an immediate long-term contract position opening for a Sr. Oracle Spatial Developer/DBA resource with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. • This resource will work 100% onsite.

Oracle Spatial Developer/DBA Role Description:

Th Sr. Database Administrator will work as part of a Scrum Team.

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

Complete user stories, bugs and technical debt Review, update and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations. Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository. Evaluate user requests for new data elements, new features and provide any necessary technical assistance. Perform data modeling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards. Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements. Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities. Assist with required reporting as established by the client.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience with the following: Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS, SDO). Oracle PL/SQL. Version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT). SQL Developer (or other like IDEs). Esri ArcSDE (integration with Oracle Spatial).

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure DevOps (project management, user stories/bugs/test cases, etc.) Eclipse Agile methodology
