Job Description:
Responsibilities Full time, on-site (DC) 5 days a week (0900-1700) unless previously agreed with the Client PM. Join onsite stand ups and meetings as necessary. Assist the team with validation tasks (such as cable reset, cable swap, rebooting etc.) Manage the day-to-day DC deployment tasks. Supervise the local contractors. Support onsite teams and be their "overwatch" for any issues. Work with Client project managers (will not be located onsite), join daily calls with team. Identify risks and mitigating / escalating them. Highlight any concerns with the onsite deployment activities to Client PM. Represent Client in front of their customer. Provide daily & weekly reporting to Client team. Own immediate escalation cycles. Strong social skills and ability to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision. Requirements Based in DC Site (up to one hour commute time from the DC). Experienced with massive DC deployment project management (including "hands on" basic experience). Deep understanding of physical DC deployment (power, racks, servers, network, cables). Join 3-5 preliminary calls during pre-deployment phase to familiarize with the project and best practices. Deep understanding of DC deployment cycles. Experience with Networking. Excellent written and spoken English. Not planning to have a significant vacation during that time.
Pay:
