Implement disciplined engineering and design baseline control and change management processes. Develop KPIs to drive high probability outcomes and learning curve improvements on future design build iterations and ongoing operations. Develop and manage a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and operators. Design HPC function operating model. Ensure all systems are optimized for high-density compute, liquid/air cooling technologies, and energy efficiency. Keep a pulse on engineering and technological breakthroughs that can be applied to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, reliability, and/or performance of our HPC infrastructure. Interface with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to compute operators and support functions. Interface with external stakeholders such as EPCM contractors, , OEM vendors, deliver partners, and third-party SMEs. Drive comprehensive policy and procedure documentation and enforce rigorous QA/QC processes. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar. 10+ years of experience in mission-critical data center development and/or operations in a senior leadership capacity. Effective leader & communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
