Data Center Technician

Job Title:

ICT Svc Delivery Technician Hours:

M-F 8am - 5pm (some expected overtime, 1 week per month of on-call & 2 hrs. paid on Sat and Sun. If called in, paid for hours worked)

Duration:

7+ Months (Possible extension or conversion) Potential to convert to FTE, If so, what rate: Only if headcount becomes available, that is not the intention of this role.

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:

Candidate will be working in a Data Center This role involves a lot of walking Candidate will need to be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Team Overview:

• This is a team environment but will be expected to also work independently. • They will report to an on-site supervisor Resource's typical working day : Racking and stacking hardware Running cables Check for service tickets Pulling servers Powering servers Adding Memory to a server

Must Have Skills:

Must be reliable Replacing hardware in a server (PC) This is highly focused on the "hands and feet" work with the servers Running cables Nice to have skills: Data Center certifications Specific Data Center experience Ability to work well with others Can take directions

Soft Skills:

Client facing role, so high level of professionalism and good customer service

Years of Experience:

At least 1 year experience

Education:

H.S.

diploma or GED Software skills:

Excel experience is a plus Microsoft Office suite ServiceNow is a plus

Interview Process:

1st round virtual (Teams) 2nd round virtual if needed

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
