Low Voltage Lead Technician - Data Center T1 Workforce LLC Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $34 - $40 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Data center experience Cable testers Managing telecommunications infrastructure technician teams Low-voltage system cabling Telecommunications low voltage systems Driver's License Fiber optic systems installation BICSI Certification Crew management Project leadership Telecommunications testing equipment Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) Full Job Description T1 Workforce is hiring Lead Technicians to run small crews on hyperscale data center projects across DFW. If you can splice, test, read prints, AND keep a 3-5 man crew productive, you are the single most in-demand person in this market. We pay accordingly — and the techs we hire next work under you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Run crews of 3-5 technicians and installers on structured cabling scopes Own quality on terminations, splicing, and certification testing Read and work from construction drawings, one-line diagrams, and patch schedules Coordinate with the contractor's PM and keep your scope on schedule Train and develop junior technicians
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
4+ years structured cabling experience, with data center or mission-critical project work Strong fiber skills: fusion splicing, MPO/MTP termination, and testing (Fluke / OTDR / OLTS) Experience leading a crew — formally as a foreman, or informally as the senior hand on site Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to pass a background check and drug screen (required for data center site badging)
PREFERRED
Ribbon splicing on high-count trunk fiber BICSI TECH or INST2 certification Experience standing up and training new crews
