Epic Operational Database Administrator IDR Inc. - 5.0 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $95 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Linux support Establishing disaster recovery processes Database backup and recovery IT system monitoring System performance optimization Data recovery Server backup and recovery Enterprise software support System maintenance Database server management Data backup Epic Certification Capacity planning Epic System tuning Data performance optimization Linux administration Production troubleshooting System performance monitoring Full Job Description Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) We're seeking a certified Epic Operational Database Administrator to support and maintain Epic's operational database environments in a large healthcare setting. This role will focus on InterSystems IRIS administration, Linux support, performance monitoring, disaster recovery, security patching, backups/restores, and Epic infrastructure support across production and non-production environments.
Required Skills:
Current Epic ODBA Certification Experience administering InterSystems IRIS/Caché Strong Linux/UNIX administration experience Database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting Backup/recovery and disaster recovery support Performance tuning, capacity planning, and system maintenance Experience supporting Epic production environments
Preferred:
Healthcare industry experience System Pulse and System Performance Analytics Scripting/automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python) This is an excellent opportunity for an Epic infrastructure professional who enjoys working on the platform, database, and systems side of Epic rather than application support.
