Job Description:

8+ Years of experience.

Ab Initio Mastery:

Proven experience with GDE, EME, Graphs, Meta-programming and Control Center.

Database Expertise:

Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake preferred).

Unix/Linux:

Solid experience in Shell Scripting (Korn, Bash) for process automation.

Data Warehousing:

Deep understanding of ETL patterns, data modeling, and Big Data concepts.

Problem Solving:

Ability to debug complex data flows and optimize throughput.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

Experience with Python for data manipulation or automation. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL processes using Ab Initio (GDE, Co-Operating System). Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. Automate data workflows and system tasks using Unix/Linux Shell Scripting. Perform performance tuning of Ab Initio graphs and SQL queries to handle large datasets. Collaborate with data architects to translate business requirements into technical designs. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
