Job Description

Job Description Our client is looking for a Technical Lead (Engineer III) to join their team in Irving, TX. We are looking for a hands-on Engineer III who operates as Technical Lead—someone who can both architect within guardrails and execute in code. You are responsible for the technical roadmap of our digital ecosystem, ensuring that our Salesforce integrations, frontend architecture, and deployment pipelines are world-class. You establish the standards for TDD (Test-Driven Development), automation, and AI adoption. You'll play a critical role in advancing the client's E-Commerce and Marketing technology ecosystem, leading technical solution design and guiding a cross-functional engineering pod across platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), MuleSoft, and modern CMS tools. This is not a pure oversight role—you are expected to actively code, design, and elevate engineering quality standards, leveraging AI to accelerate development and testing. We need someone that is full stack and has strong Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience since this is the bulk of the work being done. You will be owning end-to-end technical solution design following architecture hand-offs across: o SFCC (headless, SCAPI-based), SFMC (Journeys, integrations), Mulesoft API's and CMS platforms. You will translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions and drive integration patterns across commerce, marketing, and data platforms while leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. This role is required to go onsite in the Irving, TX location four days a week with Friday being remote. We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.
