Applicants must have current right to work in the United States DECI Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Center Controls Engineer to join our growing US team supporting major mission critical data center projects in Texas and across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering and commissioning company as we continue expanding our US presence. You will support technically complex data center projects while contributing to the growth of a high-performing team delivering across hyperscale and mission critical environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in commissioning, validating and optimizing critical controls systems that support some of the most demanding facilities in the industry. Key Responsibilities Support commissioning and testing of building automation and controls systems on mission critical data center projects Execute point-to-point verification, functional performance testing and integrated systems testing Support startup and commissioning of controls systems associated with chilled water, HVAC, cooling and critical infrastructure Review controls logic, sequences of operation, cause and effect matrices and technical submittals Support system troubleshooting, issue resolution and controls optimization during commissioning activities Coordinate with controls vendors, commissioning teams, contractors, design teams and clients Participate in integrated systems testing and support critical systems validation Assist with witness testing, deficiency tracking, punch listing and closeout support Review and validate commissioning procedures, test scripts and turnover documentation Support field inspections, progress reporting and quality compliance activities Assist with commissioning planning and coordination through project milestones Support final turnover and handover of systems to clients and operations teams Support controls integration associated with critical facility performance and reliability Requirements Proven experience as a Controls Engineer within data center or mission critical environments Mandatory data center experience Strong understanding of building automation systems, controls integration and critical environment systems Experience supporting commissioning and integrated systems testing Ability to review controls drawings, sequences and technical documentation Experience troubleshooting controls systems and supporting startup activities Knowledge of BMS/BAS platforms and critical facility controls systems Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments Current right to work in the United States required Preferred Qualifications Experience on hyperscale or large-scale data center projects Exposure to Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning activities Experience with critical cooling systems and central plant controls preferred Familiarity with mission critical commissioning procedures and owner standards beneficial Experience with integrated controls testing and systems validation preferred Benefits Competitive salary Performance bonus opportunities 401(k) with employer matching Comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental and vision Per diem where applicable for project assignments Paid time off and company holidays Career progression opportunities within a growing US business Exposure to major data center projects across the United States Supportive team culture and long-term project pipeline Opportunity to be part of a company growing its US presence with significant future opportunity About
