We're on the front lines of sustainable, high-performance compute, and we're growing our boots-on-the-ground team in Quanah, Texas. If you're mechanically curious, detail-oriented, and ready to get hands-on with the technology powering tomorrow, we want to hear from you. The Role This is a solo on-site role. You'll be the sole boots-on-the-ground operator at our Quanah facility; the person who knows every server and every valve. Day-to-day operations are guided by thorough SOPs, and you'll have remote support from our management team, but you work independently on-site. Your responsibilities include performing inspections, deploying and troubleshooting server hardware, and operating the mechanical systems that power the liquid-cooling system. If you thrive with ownership, prefer working without a crowd, and take pride in keeping a system running right, this role is built for you. On-site training is provided. No prior data center experience required, just the right attitude and aptitude. The schedule consists of 32 hrs/week and can accommodate preferred shifts, provided they do not affect task completion or SLAs. See the Schedule section below for more details. Responsibilities Perform daily walkthroughs and inspections of data center infrastructure Deploy and monitor the latest server hardware Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and cooling system issues with guidance from senior staff Operate pumps, valves, switches, and breakers associated with the liquid cooling system Install network cables, power cables, and server equipment as needed Follow established SOPs and contribute ideas for process improvement Track and record work performed with meticulous attention to detail Complete accurate shift reports Respond to on-call callouts outside of regular hours when critical issues arise Requirements Computer literacy: Basic Excel/Sheets, email, monitoring systems, and ticketing systems Mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and comfortable learning how systems work Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully and execute with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Clear, professional written and verbal communication Self-starter attitude with eagerness to learn and grow Must be able to lift 65 lbs of computer/network equipment Must be able to reliably commute to Quanah, TX, or relocate before start date Must be authorized to work in the

United States Schedule Regular Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm (32 hrs/week) (Shifts are flexible)

Days Off:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, every week

On-Call:

Must be available for critical callouts outside regular hours This is a salaried role with a built-in 3-day weekend every week. In exchange, we ask that you remain available to respond to critical system alerts outside of regular hours when they arise. Callouts are not a regular occurrence, but when they happen, you're it. We want candidates who understand that and are genuinely okay with it; not candidates who find out after hire that it's more than they signed up for.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
