This position is ideal for individuals with experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, data management, computer hardware, or electronics assembly. In this role, you'll support critical data center operations by managing inventory, installing server components, processing electronic equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality standards are met. We're looking for detail-oriented, dependable professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong computer skills, and take pride in safety, accuracy, and accountability. Responsibilities Assemble and install server components, computer hardware, and network cabling by following schematics, diagrams, and work instructions. Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials, verifying part numbers, quantities, and product condition. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and warehouse management systems (WMS). Support inventory cycle counts, replenishment activities, and inventory control processes. Process returns and inventory transactions using warehouse and logistics software systems. Assemble and install electronic components within server racks while maintaining strict quality standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and effectively. Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation accurately. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move products and materials safely. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines at all times. Conduct self-audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Assist multiple departments through cross-training opportunities and operational support. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding inventory, workflow, and operational needs. Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations while supporting overall data center operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records. Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Commitment to workplace safety and following established processes.
Preferred:
Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution center, or inventory control experience. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory management software. Experience with CRM systems such as SAP, Red Prairie, or similar platforms. Computer hardware, electronics assembly, data center, or IT technician experience. Experience creating and processing Bills of Lading (BOLs). Familiarity with inventory cycle counts, quality inspections, and shipping/receiving processes. Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely. Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the workday. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Ability to work in a warehouse and data center environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
