Job Description

Program OverviewThe Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 — Enterprise Applications Support — delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

Position SummaryECS is seeking a Database Analyst / Developer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in developing and optimizing database solutions that underpin enterprise applications. This position involves crafting complex database queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to ensure data integrity and performance. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data migration efforts and enhance the reliability and security of data services, contributing to the overall mission success of the
ARNG ENOCS
program.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize database queries and stored procedures to support enterprise applications.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems.

Support data migration activities, ensuring seamless integration and validation.

Implement data transformation logic to meet reporting and operational requirements.

Collaborate with application developers to enhance database performance and efficiency.

Assist in database performance tuning and optimization efforts.

Ensure data services are secure, reliable, and aligned with enterprise data management standards.

Validate data accuracy and integrity across multiple enterprise systems.

Support the development of reports and data visualization tools as needed.

DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 421-Database Administrator at the Basic proficiency levelBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience3-10 years of experience in database development, data analysis, or database administration within DoD or Federal IT environmentsDemonstrated experience with developing database queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logicProven ability to conduct data analysis and support data migration activitiesExperience in database performance tuning and optimizationAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data service alignment with operational requirements
