Piper Companies is seeking a Jira/Atlassian Administrator to join a growing Enterprise PMO team supporting enterprise-wide project and portfolio management initiatives. The Jira/Atlassian Administrator will serve as the primary administrator for Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Jira Product Discovery (JPD), while helping drive governance, process improvement, and collaboration across the organization. Jira/Atlassian Administrator :
Administer and maintain Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Jira Product Discovery (JPD) Design, configure, and optimize workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and automation rules Manage user access, permissions, and role-based security controls across the Atlassian ecosystem Build and maintain integrations, plugins, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency Support and expand Atlassian Rovo Chat and Rovo Agents capabilities Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to enhance project, program, and portfolio visibility Conduct system audits to ensure platform performance, security, and data integrity Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to drive platform adoption Partner with Enterprise PMO leadership to standardize project and portfolio management processes Develop and maintain governance frameworks, templates, and project lifecycle tools Create and manage project intake, prioritization, and approval workflows within Jira Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Atlassian solutions Promote continuous improvement through Atlassian best practices, training, and process optimization Evaluate new Atlassian features, add-ons, and emerging technologies to enhance the project management ecosystem Qualifications for the
Jira/Atlassian Administrator :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience administering Atlassian applications including Jira, Confluence, JSM, and JPD 6+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years of direct project management experience Strong understanding of PMO operations, governance frameworks, and project lifecycle management Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies Proficiency with Jira Query Language (JQL), workflow configuration, automation rules, and reporting Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions for executive and stakeholder audiences Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the enterprise Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Atlassian certifications such as ACP-JA, ACP-600, ACP-120, or similar Experience with Advanced Roadmaps and Portfolio for Jira Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, PMP, Lean, Agile, or Scrum methodologies Experience integrating Atlassian tools with third-party applications and AI technologies Financial services, banking, or enterprise PMO experience Compensation for the

Salary Range:
