Mechanical Engineer - Modular Mission‑
This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and field execution, contributing to scalable, repeatable solutions deployed globally.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a mechanical Subject Matter Expert for HVAC, plumbing, pumping, and related mechanical systemsEstablish design standards, specifications, and engineering criteria for modular and site‑based projectsPerform site surveys, system calculations, equipment selection, and detailed mechanical designDevelop sustainable, high‑performance systems for air and hydronic distribution, central plants, and building managementProduce construction drawings and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standardsSupport fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities, resolving technical issues as neededDevelop sequences of operation, compliance matrices, and project support documentationParticipate in Pre‑Installation Testing and Checkout (PITCO), system integration testing, and equipment build‑outsSupport mechanical project scope, schedule, budget, and cross‑discipline coordinationPerform QA/QC reviews of mechanical documentation and designsContribute to new product evaluations and continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)5+ years of progressively responsible mechanical engineering experienceExperience with data centers, mission‑critical facilities, or complex building infrastructureStrong working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and SMACNA manualsProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflowsExperience supporting construction and commissioning activitiesAbility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security ClearanceExcellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skillsProfessional Engineer (PE) license (or actively pursuing)Preferred ExperienceTrane TRACE and/or Carrier HAPLEED accreditationExperience in modular, prefabricated, or design‑build environmentsExposure to government or regulated facilitiesAdditional certifications (CEM, CLEP, DBIA) a plusBenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursement401(k) with company matchPaid parental leaveMilitary reserve pay offset
