Job Overview:
Data Engineer & Database Administrator III will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines while ensuring high-performance, secure, and reliable database systems. This role combines data engineering and database administration expertise, supporting analytics, engineering, and product teams with clean, timely, and well-structured data. The position also includes technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers and driving data architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications:
For Level III Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or database administration Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Amazon Redshift Solid SQL expertise for both transactional and analytical workloads Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Redshift) Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization
Required Qualifications:
For Level II Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Administration, or related roles Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Amazon Redshift Solid SQL skills for transactional and analytical workloads Hands-on experience with AWS data and database services Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and workflow orchestration tools
