TC/DATABASE ANALYST

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Facilitate database solutions for TGO users and network systems. Primary position and responsibility for business data handling, conversion, migration, reporting, modeling and architecture manipulation needs for TGO systems.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Years of equivalent experience, education, and/or training may be considered in lieu of BA degree. IT Technical certifications preferred, such as: MCSA, or Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate. Years of experience, education, and/or training may be considered in lieu of certifications.

SKILLS:

Must have basic math skills. (Test required) Ability to proficiently and accurately type 25wpm. (Test required) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with team members and end users. (Test required) Ability to build an accurate database query report using SQL. (Test required)

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three (3) years experience with design and development, coding, security, and distribution of production Microsoft Access databases. Minimum of three (3) years experience with SQL Query and SQL Databases. Minimum of three (3) years experience with Windows desktop operating systems and server networking fundamentals. Minimum of two (2) years experience with reports using industry or enterprise level report writing software applications. Minimum of two (2) years experience with PC hardware, software, printers, PC component repair and replacement. Minimum of two (2) years working experience with maintaining and troubleshooting devices in a client-server environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

This position is considered "safety sensitive" and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing. Must be able to relate and convert highly detailed technical information into short, concise, and understandable terms the customer can understand. Must be flexible to work at all gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit. Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays. Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
