Job Description

Database Coordinator Glen White, WV 25849 $14.50 an hour - Part-time $14.50 an hour - Part-time Position Summary The Database Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant entry and management of agency data related to client services, grants, and program reporting. This position supports AWAY's compliance with federal, state, coalition, and internal reporting requirements while maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data entry, database management, administrative support, or related field preferred. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Workspace, and database systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience working within nonprofit, victim services, or social service environments preferred. Ability to communicate professionally with staff, coalition partners, and external agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain accurate, timely, and complete data entry within all required database systems in accordance with agency, grantor, WVCADV, and WVFRIS standards. Monitor database records for completeness, consistency, and accuracy. Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and as-needed reports for agency leadership and grant reporting purposes. Assist staff with database troubleshooting and technical support related to data entry requirements. Participate in coalition meetings, database trainings, and collaborative discussions regarding reporting requirements and system updates. Support implementation of database updates, improvements, or transitions. Maintain organized electronic records and documentation. Assist with preparation for audits, grant monitoring reviews, and compliance checks. Maintain confidentiality of all client, staff, and agency information in accordance with agency policy and applicable laws and regulations. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Achieve and maintain Certified Domestic Violence Advocate status as required by agency and licensure standards. Attend required WVCADV and/or WVFRIS trainings necessary to maintain compliance and certification. Complete required documentation, reports, timesheets, and administrative tasks accurately and within established deadlines. Perform additional duties as assigned.
