Data Center Technician Location:
Cheyenne, WY About the Role We're hiring a hands-on Field Service Technician in Cheyenne. If you enjoy working with your hands, fixing problems, and being out on job sites instead of behind a desk, this could be a great fit. This role supports building automation systems, including work in data centers and critical environments, helping keep equipment running reliably 24/7. What You'll Do Install and start up building automation systems at local job sites Travel to sites around Cheyenne and nearby areas for service calls and projects Support systems in data centers and other mission-critical facilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Test systems to make sure everything is working properly Use a laptop and tools to diagnose and fix equipment Work with engineers and project teams during installs and startups What We're Looking For Experience with HVAC, mechanical, or electrical systems Comfortable working with tools, wiring, and equipment Strong problem-solving skills Ability to read basic diagrams or drawings Willing to travel locally and work in the field Nice to Have Experience with building automation or DDC systems Data center or critical facility experience Previous field service experience Work Environment Based in Cheyenne with a steady daytime schedule Field-based role with regular travel to nearby sites Work in commercial buildings, industrial sites, and data centers Small, team-oriented crew with strong support Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
