The Department of Family & Community Services is recruiting for Data Processing Manager 3 in Anchorage/Juneau! •Classification Study Notice•This position is currently undergoing review as a part of the Information Technology job class study and therefore both the title and the pay range assigned may be subject to change upon the completion of the study. What You Will Be Doing:
The Data Processing Manager 3 provides the highest level of management oversight for the Department of Family and Community Service (DFCS), IT's Network Services (NS) statewide team. This role supports projects and IT service delivery internally to 5 divisions, 1847 department staff, as well as to external customer agencies, business partners and organizations. It is responsible for customer services project assessment and management, budgeting, and the service delivery to 42 statewide sites. It also manages statewide technical service support centers in Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks. Additional responsibilities include developing CS initiatives and strategic plans, setting project and service priorities, and allocating staff and financial resources to improve performance and efficiency. This position supervises a staff of eight employees.
