The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking to fill the Offender Information Unit (OIU) Manager position. Current ADCRR Employees:
Consult with your respective Human Resources Liaison if you are in a different retirement plan than the one indicated above.
Knowledge of:
  • Work management and supervision principles and techniques
  • Federal and state laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures governing offender records and provisions of release of information
  • Interstate Agreement on Detainer laws and procedures
  • Criminal codes, sentence and parole laws, and methodology of time calculations for release dates
  • Functions and jurisdictions of local, state, and federal courts and law enforcement agencies
  • Board of Executive Clemency policies, procedures, and programs as they apply to offender releases
  • Administrative office practices and procedures Skill in:
  • Effective management and team building of staff
  • Comprehending and interpreting legal court documents, orders, detainers, warrants, criminal codes, sentences and parole laws; rules and regulations, policies and procedures governing offender records, and security and release of information
  • Calculating eligibility release dates
  • Verbal and written communications
  • Building and maintaining interpersonal relations
  • Time management and organization
  • Typing
  • Problem-solving and decision-making techniques Ability to:
  • Work with diverse personalities and situations in the workplace
  • Comprehend and interpret legal language and court decisions
  • Plan, analyze, and establish priorities
  • Learn and adhere to ADCRR policies and procedures
  • Learn ACIS
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Work in a prison environment Selective Preference(s)
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field
