Base Hourly:
$20.76
Class/Calendar:
B22, 12 months
Benefits:

Performance Pay:
Available annually
New Hire Experience:
1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the requirement, up to a ten-year maximum
New Hire Education:
1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or higher degree if not required for the position
Job Summary:
Coordinates, administers, and monitors district testing for English Language learners, including state placement and reassessment tests, to ensure quality control and compliance with district, state and federal guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the identification and verification of students identified for testing Coordinate, administer, and monitor required student assessments (including English Learner Placement and Reassessment exams) in collaboration with district and site program personnel, ensuring all identified students are tested accurately and in compliance with state and district guidelines. Organize and maintain testing materials and systems (i.e., ordering, inventory, distribution, collection, and shipping) ensuring quality control and compliance with district, state and federal guidelines for both paper-based and online testing platforms. Provide clear communication, training, and hands-on support to school staff, including state required training as well as guidance on testing procedures, platform use, and troubleshooting during testing. Review and manage testing data for accuracy, including data entry, verification, and preparation of results for district systems or use by district and school personnel. Develop queries within various online portals, including Synergy, AzEDS, ADEConnect, and assessment platforms, to gather, process, and compile data for monitoring student testing. Collaborate with others as needed ensuring assessment platforms, technology, and equipment are operational during testing. Support the District Testing Coordinator's work with testing vendors, the Arizona Department of Education, and other district departments Assist with other state required assessments as needed Regular and on-time attendance required
Required Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent Knowledge and experience with testing programs Experience with data portals associated with assessment including, but not limited to student information systems (e.g., Synergy), state accountability data (e.g., AzEDS, ADEConnect), and assessment platforms

Times:
Testing windows can bring high volumes of tasks and deadlines. May work independently or as part of a small team under the supervision of an EL Coordinator or school administrator Extended periods of sitting for computer-based tasks like data entry and report generation May need to lift and carry boxes of test materials (typically under 25 pounds)
