1 year Key Responsibilities Facility Operations Partner with the facilities team to manage power infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, and PDU allocation and monitoring Oversee cooling infrastructure including CRAC units, hot/cold aisle containment strategies, and ongoing temperature monitoring to ensure optimal environmental conditions Manage physical security controls including access control systems, CCTV oversight, visitor management protocols, and cage/cabinet access procedures Maintain raised floor integrity, enforce cable management standards, and oversee physical space planning to support efficient and organized infrastructure layout Compliance and Audit Maintain and support data center certifications including Tier ratings, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, ensuring ongoing alignment with certification requirements Ensure environmental compliance across fire suppression systems, hazardous materials handling, and related regulatory obligations Lead and coordinate regulatory audit readiness activities for the physical facility, serving as the primary point of contact during audits and assessments Capacity Planning Track and report on power headroom - including available capacity, utilization trends, and planning for future additions Manage space capacity including rack unit availability, current utilization, and long-term footprint planning Monitor thermal load limits and work with the facilities team to plan cooling capacity expansion as infrastructure needs grow Managed Service Provider Coordination Serve as the primary liaison with the managed service provider for all physical hardware activities, including delivery coordination, installation oversight, and decommission planning and execution Incident Management Lead incident response for facility-related events in coordination with the facilities team, including power events, cooling failures, and physical security breaches Oversee and participate in generator and UPS testing activities, ensuring readiness and compliance with testing schedules and documentation requirements Qualifications Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing or operating an enterprise, on-premises data center environment Hands-on experience with power and cooling infrastructure including UPS, generators, PDUs, and
CRAC/CRAH
systems Familiarity with data center compliance frameworks and certifications including
SOC 2, ISO
27001, and Uptime Institute Tier standards Experience with physical security systems including access control platforms and CCTV Strong understanding of capacity planning methodologies for power, space, and cooling Demonstrated ability to manage vendor and managed service provider relationships Experience developing and executing incident response procedures for facility-level events Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Data center operations certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional) or DCIM-related credentials Experience with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tools for monitoring and capacity tracking Familiarity with environmental and hazardous materials compliance regulations Experience supporting internal and external audits in a regulated environment We strive to create an environment where all employees are empowered to succeed based on their skills, performance, and dedication.
