Job Description
Job Summary The Senior Technical Program Manager will support the Data & AI organization by driving coordination across engineering, DevOps, product, and analytics teams. This role is responsible for bridging operational gaps, defining processes, and ensuring alignment as the organization builds and expands its data platform. The position requires strong technical fluency in data platform architecture and hands-on involvement in requirements, data contracts, and cross-team workflows. Key Responsibilities Drive cross-organizational coordination between DevOps and product/application engineering teams, ensuring requirement clarity and preventing handoff failures. Facilitate collaboration between data engineers and the analytics team through design reviews, office hours, and structured workflows. Own requirements management, establishing shared data contracts and entity standards for consistent execution. Design and run program rituals, including sprint reviews, design syncs, and feedback sessions. Track dependencies, identify blockers, and surface risks before they reach production. Communicate concise updates and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Required Qualifications 5+ years as a Technical Program Manager, Staff Engineer, or Senior Data Engineer with cross-functional responsibility. Technical fluency in medallion architecture, data contracts, dbt, and gold/silver/bronze layer concepts. Proven ability to drive alignment across teams without direct authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical dependencies. Experience designing and running program rituals that improve execution velocity. Comfort operating in ambiguous and evolving environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in music, media, or entertainment data platforms. Familiarity with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer. Experience in high-growth, scaling environments.
