5501-External Relations Classification Pay Scale In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale Minimum:
$30.00 Hourly Maximum $33.00 Hourly Job Summary Reporting to the Gift Administration and Data Integrity Manager, the Gift Processing & Data Integrity Coordinator provides critical operational support to WesternU's fundraising and advancement operations by ensuring the accurate processing of charitable gifts and the ongoing integrity of donor and constituent data. This position blends gift processing, data integrity, and administrative support responsibilities, supporting the Manager in maintaining highly accurate donor records, implementing efficient workflows, and ensuring a seamless donor experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Knowledge of:
Fundraising operations, donor databases, or CRM systems (Raiser's Edge/Blackbaud preferred).
IRS , CASE
, and GAAP standards related to charitable gift processing. Basic financial principles and documentation practices. Data integrity standards, recordkeeping processes, and quality control. Digital file management and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
Skills:
Strong data entry and data quality assurance skills with a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency with CRM platforms, Excel, and administrative software tools. Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor and internal interactions. Analytical skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
Ability to:
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information responsibly. Process gifts quickly, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Learn and apply gift administration best practices and institutional procedures. Work collaboratively with Advancement, Finance, and other units. Troubleshoot data issues and recommend effective solutions. Provide excellent customer service to donors and colleagues. Bring Your Best Self to

Required Qualifications Education:
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience or Training:
2+ years in data, administrative, or financial roles. Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education advancement or nonprofit fundraising operations. Familiarity with gift processing standards. Experience with CRM systems preferred.
