Job title:
Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Manager Job duties: Direct the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-wide BI and data visualization systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and analytical availability across business units Architect and implement end-to-end BI solutions, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, and dashboard presentation layers Design scalable data models, star and snowflake schemas, OLAP cubes, and semantic layers to support complex analytical and reporting needs Lead the organizations BI roadmap by integrating predictive analytics, advanced modeling techniques, and self-service BI capabilities Establish data governance and metadata management standards to promote data quality, traceability, security, and compliance Integrate data from ERP, CRM, and operational systems into centralized analytical repositories using ETL and ELT methodologies Automate recurring analytical processes and design workflows that reduce manual intervention and enhance reporting accuracy Develop advanced SQL, DAX, and MDX scripts to support high-performance calculations, real-time insights, and optimized data processing Supervise and mentor BI analysts, developers, and visualization specialists, providing technical direction and best-practice guidance Collaborate with senior leadership and IT teams to translate business challenges into measurable, data-driven insights and performance indicators Conduct advanced analytical modeling, trend forecasting, variance analysis, and evaluation of BI technologies to support decision-making Ensure BI systems meet scalability, performance, and data-quality requirements and oversee adoption of modern visualization frameworks. Experience:
24 months of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related.
Special skills:
Experience with data modeling and BI architecture; ETL/ELT processes; SQL; and BI visualization tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of OLAP concepts and semantic layer design, and ability to automate analytical workflows.
